I’ve been seeing more and more people closing themselves off to the true potential of enriching love within relationships. As we sit in a society filled with love being based off sexual urges, material gain, and/or ego strokes. Yet, where do we find ourselves when we hold an aching within our hearts to receive lasting connection and intimacy? Where we want to be heard, understood, honored, loved and received. Yet the distortion of our reality faces us with the belief that we can’t ask for that. We believe we must turn off our emotions and play the role of being aloof, holding our masks tight chasing after relationships that are mostly superficial that don’t reach to the depths of what our soul truly craves! But why? What are we truly afraid of? What fears arise as we lean into the idea to take the leap of faith to explore the love that is budding with another person, or even within our current relationship? When do we take the courage to take off our masks, to truly be ourselves, and to share our true feelings and emotions even if they may seem at first to be scary or unlovable? Standing in pure vulnerability, strength, and truth! And what if, as we did open ourselves up to the depths of love, that we found ourselves in the most revolutionary relationship with more value, peace, love, and understanding! Bringing in new depths and levels of love to greet us! What if we moved past our fears, for once, and opened to true intimacy both emotionally and physically? Awakening to the excitement and joy of what this person in our life has to bring us, rather than turning ourselves off.

I feel so much is missed as we relate with one another, and as human beings, we offer so much more than what we have been giving ourselves credit for. We have so much history within our lives that wants to be seen and expressed, why do we choose to ignore that and stuff it all down? Share your story, share your wisdom, and see within the relationship where this can take you! If someone doesn’t honor or want to take the time to share in your beauty, then find another who does. We really can’t be sitting around any longer holding our emotions in, ignoring the callings of our heart to be free.

We should no longer sustain relationships in this old way, as we can now awaken to our true selves and also be open to sharing that with others. Let’s crumble the superficial, the masks and the fear, and hold space for another as we walk together awakening to the true essence of ourselves and love! And as we do, we can change this world to being more emotionally open, loving, free, and true! Sharing the love with one another at a whole new level.
