October has us looking deeper within ourselves, exploring our inner most wounds of unworthiness. Whether feeling unworthy within certain relationships, with your career, or with life in general. Thus, this month for the “Releasing the Emotional Wounds Series,” we will be exploring how to best face, and release the feelings of unworthiness. This is a core wound that can hold many layers, but we will be exploring an example to help you find where unworthiness shows up for you, so you may best heal and release this wound.

The feelings of unworthiness can keep you from your most desired goals and wishes.Whether you are wanting to have more money, or wanting an ideal career, or the perfect love relationship, or even better friendships. So a good starting point is asking yourself what you truly desire, and reflecting back within your life to see if there are any pitfalls or blocks that have occurred to attaining this desire. For instance, say you have always wanted a better career, with more freedom, a good environment, and making lots of money. Yet you find with each job you’ve had, it runs short of that, where you are living paycheck to paycheck, the environment is always stressful, and you feel you are chained to your job and not able to enjoy the other aspects of life. You dream one day of having that perfect career, but stuck in the hamster wheel feeling that there is no way out. From here, you will want to explore and dig a little deeper, meditation and/or journaling can best assist you here to help you move within your heart for guidance. Continuing with our example, you may find as you explore your life’s history that you hold beliefs from your childhood from either your parents, guardians or those around you, that work isn’t supposed to be fun, it’s hard, and will just be there to pay the bills. Maybe you also find that you feel money is bad, and if you have too much of it you will be an awful person. You may dig deeper yet to feel that you don’t feel worthy of good things in your life, that this belief holds strong within your subconscious mind. So keep digging until you feel you have reached gold.

Once you have your belief(s) that are holding you back, then you will want to imagine or envision in your minds eye that you are placing each negative thought pattern in a giant black trash bag (or you may even use a trash bin if you prefer). Once everything is in the bag, tie it up, then call upon your Higher Self to release these beliefs into the Light above to be transmuted. Then take the time to sit with your desired goal again. For the above example, you would envision having your ideal career and freedom. If you feel any resistance within your body, like knots in your tummy, or tense shoulders, know there are more unworthiness beliefs to be found. If you feel light and uplifted by your goal, then know you are now able to birth this goal into reality. Thus you can move to the next step, by holding onto this vision a little bit longer, and have it move within your heart, and then into every cell within your body. Having this desire vibrate within your entire being! Then close your eyes, and ask your Higher Self, what is the first step that you need to take to bring this forward. See what the first thought, feeling or impression is that comes in, the follow suit. Then continue this process working with your Higher Self step-by-step until you have reached your desired goal. Also, know that you may run into unworthiness feelings along the way, but just process each one as they come up. As unworthiness can be stuck in many places within our lives.
Have patience with this process, as this isn’t something you’ll solve overnight, this will take some time. There are a lot of wounds around unworthiness, but remember you have the tools now to witness them, and let them go, allowing you more access to the life of your dreams!
Big Hugs & So Much Love,

Sara
