Whoa September! After the Eclipses and Retrogrades this past month, we have been in intense waters, to say the least. Many have been moved, shaken and thrown off in some way within their lives, and it may even feel unwavering at times. However,  hang in there, we are shifting into a whole new paradigm that will be filled with more light and love, and in order to get there we have to do the good work to release all the heaviness and baggage within. Thus, this brings us to the topic of our “Releasing the Emotional Wounds Series” this month, as we look deeper intohow we may be feeling unsupported within our lives at this time, whether it’s by those around us, or the Universe at large. To help feel more supported, it is recommended to move within, as we will usually find that we are feeling this way because we are stuck in an old story that no longer serves us, or we are having a more fear-based state of mind.

For many of us, we can start to feel defeated by life when we are constantly seeing negative things happen, big or small, and maybe even feel like the world is out to get us. Whether we see this in our personal lives at  home or at work, or with everything changing in the world, we truly do have our own inner power to shift things around to create something better. And if the world seems to be crumbling down around you, it’s often the Universes way of reminding you to move within. When you do this, you will find that you have the ability to change your inner dialog, your stories that you tell yourself, the thought patterns that ensue, and to really see what you are focusing on. Thus you can better understand how your outside world is being reflected from your inside monologue. Reminding us of the ancient quote from the seven principles of Hermes Trismegistus, “as within, so without…” Since what we feel within ourselves will be reflected outwardly to the world around us. To begin finding what lies within and to shift it to something more positive, we will want to utilize a simple meditation practice to really help clear our mind, and allow us to ground more within. Once we have a more peaceful state of mind, we will then be able to connect in with our inner wisdom and higher self to see how we can best shift our thoughts and emotions to new heights. The more we do this, we will be able to release the negative chatter within our minds, and begin to shift them to something more positive, thus seeing our outside world change as well.

Below I’ve listed a very simple meditation practice (note: if you don’t resonate with this one, there are many more that you may find online or in meditation books, so be curious my friend🧐).I recommend practicing this daily, then once you feel more grounded within your body and clear within your mind, then begin asking questions to your higher self. It’s all a very simple process, so remember not to overcomplicate it too much, as there is really no wrong way to do this.

  • Sit in a comfortable position, and then take a nice big exhale releasing all the oxygen out of your lungs.
  • Then slowly breathe in through your nose, filling up your stomach and then all the way up to the top of your lungs
  • Then hold your breath for 1-2 seconds at the top
  • Then slowly exhale, releasing all the oxygen once more, hold your breath for 1-2 seconds
  • Repeat (Note: If your mind starts to wonder off, just gently bring your focus back to your breath, there is no wrong way to do this, keep steady my friend)
  • Once you feel comfortable with your meditation practice, you can take extra time after to ask your higher self questions you have. You can simply ask the question you have within your mind, then wait for the answer to arise. It will often be subtle, sound like your own voice, and be very simple. See what comes in for you!

It’s easy to get distracted on this journey upon Earth, but by creating a simple meditation practice, and then connecting in with our inner wisdom and higher self, we will begin to feel more empowered, positive, and on track within life, and overall feeling more supported in all that we do. As always, remember we are all in this together, so please reach out to those around you if you do need support, and know I am always here for you too! Big hugs and so much love to you!

Much Love,

Sara
